About us & our base
Who we are, where to find us — and why we are not connected to other providers at the same location.
We're a family-run business from Bodensdorf: our own landing meadow on the north shore, our own shuttle, four permanent pilots. When you book with us, you fly with one of the four — not with a borrowed pilot from a pool.
Since 2005 we've been taking guests into the air from the north shore of Lake Ossiach. Take-off is on the Gerlitzen Alpe at around 1,900 metres, the flight crosses the lake, and landing is right at our own field in Bodensdorf.
Meeting point, shuttle to the mountain railway and equipment are all in our hands. That keeps the flow relaxed — and you'll know your pilots before take-off.
Payment is made directly with us on site or via voucher. Bookable via adventure-wings.com and by phone. We speak German, English and Dutch.

What makes a safe flight — and what you can count on with us.
Checked equipment
Gliders, harnesses and helmets are inspected and maintained on a fixed schedule. We only fly gear that is current and airworthy.
Licence & insurance
All pilots hold the legal tandem licence and liability cover. You are fully insured throughout the entire flight.
On-site weather check
Our automatic weather station at the landing site provides live data. If the flight is safe to do, we fly — otherwise we don't.
Free rescheduling
Weather and life are unpredictable. That's why you can reschedule your slot free of charge, as long as no one else is waiting for it.
TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY
Don't mix us up.
Several providers operate on Lake Ossiach, and our images also appear where we aren't behind them. Adventure-Wings Ossiachersee is an independent company — our own landing site in Bodensdorf, our own pilots, our own booking. We belong to no agency and pass nothing on.
